Paradise Found

Mission Accomplished! After an almost 5 year search, I finally found the best hamburger in SF last night. Let's be clear ... it wasn't *my* find, per se. Others have raved about it in here and there, but I've never paid those opinions much heed. So, the place is called Taylor's Automatic Refresher. It's located at the Ferry Building. Apparently, Taylor's set-up shop up in St. Helena 55 years ago and has since built quite a cult following among Wine Country locals. I ordered up a Bacon Burger. It comes with lettuce, tomato, pickles & their secret sauce (similar to that of In n' Out) on a toasted Sciambro egg bun. Hard to believe, I know, but I could have easily put down two of those bad boys. Next time I'm all over the sweet potato fries, but alas, they were out of those last night. Next on the burger trail are Moose's in North Beach and Brazen Head in Cow Hollow, although the bar has now been set incredibly high.
